If you already have a Paymark merchant number, we’ll link the terminal to it. If not, we can help you apply online - Your terminal is couriered to you
It arrives fully configured and ready to use, with an extra paper roll included. Rural addresses may need a few extra days for delivery. - Use it for your event, then send it back
A optional return courier ticket is available so sending the terminal back is hassle-free.

Can you hire an EFTPOS machine for a day?
Yes. The minimum hire is one day, and Broadband hire starts from $80 + GST for one day.
Do I need my own Paymark merchant number?
Most short-term hires use your existing Paymark merchant number. If you don’t have one yet, we can help you apply online
How far in advance should I book?
We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for rural delivery addresses. Short-notice bookings are sometimes possible — just call us on 09 443 1995.
What network does the mobile terminal use?
Our mobile EFTPOS terminals run on the Spark 4G network and work anywhere with mobile coverage. No power or venue internet is required.
Can I hire more than one terminal?
Yes. You can request multiple terminals when you complete the booking form.
Do you deliver NZ-wide?
Yes, we courier terminals throughout New Zealand. Local pickup from our Auckland base is also available by appointment.
What happens if the terminal has a problem during my event?

How much does short term EFTPOS hire cost?
Hire starts from $80 + GST per day for Broadband, $85 + GST for WiFi and $95 + GST for Mobile. Rates are daily, exclude GST, and vary with hire duration and the number of terminals. You’ll see the exact price as you complete your booking.
Which terminal is right for my event?
Choose Broadband if your venue has a wired internet connection, WiFi for indoor events with a simple network, and Mobile for markets, festivals and outdoor events where there’s no power or internet.
Are paper rolls included?
Yes. Your terminal arrives fully configured and ready to use, with an extra paper roll included.
What is the minimum hire period?
The minimum hire is one day.
Do I need to pay a bond?
No bond is required. Your rental does need to be prepaid before the terminal is sent out.
How do I return the terminal?
You have three options when your hire ends. Prepay for a return courier label when you book, arrange your own courier at your own cost, or drop the terminal back to us in person at our Auckland base by appointment.
Do the WiFi and Broadband terminals need any network settings?
Yes. The venue’s network must allow outbound TCP traffic on ports 33876, 8013 and 7540. WiFi terminals also need a simple network with no login page. If you’re not sure, ask the venue’s IT contact to check, or choose our Mobile terminal, which doesn’t depend on venue internet.
Is it cheaper to book online?
